Medieval & Renaissance Time Travelers Needed for Recovery Mission:
Web Links to Middle Ages and Renaissance
History of Renaissance / Customs and dress / Renaissance Chart / Renaissance Umbrella

Each era has certain characteristics. Each is about a place and an attitude. There were Renaissance and Medieval eras in Japan, China, Byzantine, Russia, Africa and other places throughout the world. Each era is distinct and produced many treasurers. You will be going back in time and recovering these treasures for us to examine. You must be dressed accordingly so that you can enter the area incognito and recover the treasure then leave without being noticed. Errors on your part may result in our present being altered. The trip will be made in a chronotraveler which requires longitude and latitude settings prior to travel. You will be completing a formula to set the chronotraveler.

First, locate some of the treasures you may wish to recover, note the area and time period, then dress accordingly. You will also need to know some of the customs of the time and be aware of the mode of travel because the chronotraveler will not be setting you down in the middle of civilization or town and you will have to travel. Customs are not festivals but everyday actions of the people that you will need to know to intermingle with them. You may need to travel with others because travel was not done alone during the Middle Ages or Renaissance. Note your social station and travel with appropriate social counterparts and servants. You will not be assuming the identity of a known person but will be creating your own identity. Please submit your identity for approval prior to zapping back to recover your treasures. You will be recovering two treasures from each era so pick an area rich in treasures. Treasures include jewelry, state treasures, literature, architectural structures, scientific discoveries, etc.. You may wish to conduct and interview and recover one treasure. You may interview a person of noteworthy production in the area you are traveling. You would submit this interview in lieu of one treasure. Interviews are conducted incognito and would produce significant information and opinions of the person.
You may attach paper to your chart, add to the chart, use colors, or just include a description of your clothing including type of fabric, color, type of fur if appropriate, list jewelry and hair style. Use resources in the library, no bibliography is needed at this time. Your curiosity is the passport to the treasurers you recover.

Happy Hunting .
